Deviating a bit from those traditional dense fruit cake christmas kinda feel coffees, this bright and tropical coffee is everything we all want in winter....or where we want to be, as the label suggests. JUST ARRIVED...Indonesia 'Senja' Merbabu This coffee was featured in Season 6 of the Forward Lottery. I was inspired by some of the closeups that @fwdcoffee posted earlier in the spring so I had to do my take on them. @mikaeljasin from @caturcoffeecompany is doing amazing things with Indonesian coffee. A lot of the coffee you drink comes from small scale coffee producers. Most are families that rely on a harvest as their yearly income. This picture shows a family from Southern Colombia drying their coffee on cement patios. Once the coffee reaches the appropriate moisture, they will most likely add it to a community blend. This is our new roaster. It is an Ikawa sample roaster. We can roast small batches of coffee that are repeatable anywhere in the world.
